DAY TWO HUNDRED NINE ... 28 July 2009

Happy Happy Birthday to my dearest mum! She's still young (still under 50!) and looking great. My dad and I both gave her some awesome flowers and we had a little party complete with decorations, pizza, a chick flick, cake, silly cards, whiny children, and a 'Birthday Girl' tiara. I love you so much mum!!!!

DAY TWO HUNDRED EIGHT ... 27 July 2009

Our ward has the coolest FHEs! This week we did scavenger hunts in the mall. I think I ran the length of the University Mall at least three times. Our last clue took us to the Verizon store where we had to ask about a new plan to finish. We didn't win but should have. I was so sweaty.

DAY TWO HUNDRED SEVEN ... 26 July 2009

Funniest lunch ever. Canned turkey tastes a lot better than it looks.

DAY TWO HUNDRED SIX ... 25 July 2009

We went to Secondhand Serenade! And it was awesome! I had so much fun with Dave, and Secondhand Serenade and Parachute are both fantastic live. I am now in love with outdoor concerts.

DAY TWO HUNDRED FIVE ... 24 July 2009

I love when everything turns green at the cabin. It's my favorite getaway.

DAY TWO HUNDRED FOUR ... 23 July 2009

It was wildlife exploration day during our traditional lunchtime picnic-under-a-tree by the Riverwoods trail. We discovered this ginormous beehive (that we somehow didn't notice for a couple weeks even though it was right by us), the largest daddy-long-legs ever (that like to climb in my hair), birds, a squirrel eating pinecones in a nearby tree, wacky mosquitos, and some weird people. Did I ever tell you how much I hate bees???

DAY TWO HUNDRED TWO ... 21 July 2009

Oh the Oquirrh Mountain Temple is beautiful. And so different from all the other temples I've ever seen. We are so blessed to have yet another temple so close by. That makes a grand total of four temples in the Salt Lake Valley, and six temples within a one-hour driving time from my home. Glorious.

DAY TWO HUNDRED ONE ... 20 July 2009

The lovely Craven sisters provided us with some fantastic Tahitian food for our monthly Exotic Food Night FHE. We had Kahlua Pork, Corned Beef, rice, lots of fresh fruit, bread, and some funky banana/mango dessert. Thanks Jackie, Missy, and Christina!!!

DAY TWO HUNDRED ... 19 July 2009

Day two hundred of the year and I am sick in bed all day long! As a result the photo posted is one taken the day before when we took our Prosper lunch and celebrated Amber's 23rd birthday. We went to Texas Roadhouse and they made Amber sit on the saddle while we yelled a big Happy Birthday at her. So embarassingly fun!

DAY ONE HUNDRED NINETY NINE ... 18 July 2009

Dave looks so dashing in jewelry. But the guy in the background is probably the best part of this photo.

DAY ONE HUNDRED NINETY EIGHT ... 17 July 2009

My daddy is so awesome.

DAY ONE HUNDRED NINETY SEVEN ... 16 July 2009

Happy Birthday to Owen Romeril! He turned the big 7 and I got to go to his party. He is a funny kid and though he didn't seem excited for us to be singing to him he really was.

DAY ONE HUNDRED NINETY SIX ... 15 July 2009

Still. Love. This. Baby. (and his mommy)

DAY ONE HUNDRED NINETY FIVE ... 14 July 2009

Justin lookin' all serious on his new bullet bike. Good thing he has me to take his picture.

DAY ONE HUNDRED NINETY FOUR ... 13 July 2009

FHE. BBQ at the Lewis'. I burned my hand on the roasting stick. This is why I am not happy. Dave got to roast the hotdogs and is with me. That is why he is happy. On a better note for me ... the traveling shirt is back in my possession. Gooood things.

DAY ONE HUNDRED NINETY THREE ... 12 July 2009

Grandma Stone has some awesome flowers that the bees love. I hate bees, but thought this one looked cool.

DAY ONE HUNDRED NINETY TWO ... 11 July 2009

Darn bagel bags are so unreliable. All I wanted was to open the stupid thing and get one out, but instead they all fell out the bottom. Luckily for me they all fell in a nice little row in an open drawer. So random.

DAY ONE HUNDRED NINETY ONE ... 10 July 2009

My amazing Dave passed his MEI Checkride today (finally!) and is now officially legal to be a CFI (certified flight instructor)! I am sooo proud of him and the work he has put forth to get here. Just a couple more tests to take and he can apply to be a CFI for UVU (I can't wait!). And someday soon he will be the one flying off into the sunset.

DAY ONE HUNDRED NINETY ... 09 July 2009

Girls Night Out with Kelly Conlon (from Sydney) and my newly married friend Angela. We wanted some good Utah views so we went to the State Capital Building. It was perfect weather and the surrounding beauty made me grateful I live in Utah.

DAY ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY NINE ... 08 July 2009

I found some old locks of hair I kept when I donated my hair to Locks of Love (multiple times). This is my hair that I cut off when I was 12 years old compared to the both of us. Holy crap. I don't remember having such red hair. I promise I have never colored my hair, ever.

DAY ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY EIGHT ... 07 July 2009

First time mini-golfing with Dave. I was a bit scared everytime I had to put my hand in those deep ball holes. But all fears aside, I won. Glorious.

DAY ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY SEVEN ... 06 July 2009

Who has the best boyfriend ever?

Oh wait. That's me.

DAY ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY SIX ... 05 July 2009

It has been too long since I have had me some good Paola time. We sat under a tree after church and talked for two hours. It was spectacular.

DAY ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY FIVE ... 04 July 2009

I am grateful for my freedoms and for the opportunity I have to ponder upon those who have fought for my country. Though I do not feel that the Unites States of America is the 'best' country in the world, I feel that it is the best place for me to be at this time and is truly a great and blessed land.

DAY ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY FOUR ... 03 July 2009

Brunch with Dave = amazing. Strawberry and cream cheese french toast, sausage, and scrambled eggs. Life is good.

DAY ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY THREE ... 02 July 2009

Thanks to the genius of my dear Elle, I tried the vest with a black top and was very pleased. Here I am at work bored and wondering how Dave's checkride was going.

DAY ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY TWO ... 01 July 2009

Christy and I were standing in line at the grocery store and we looked over to see this ... random.

DAY ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY ONE ... 30 June 2009

Happy Anniversary to Dave and I! Exactly six months ago was our first official hang out (which is what this picture is from ... hanging out at his apartment with my friendKim DeGroff and Dave's roommate Justin) and five months ago was our first official date (yeah it took him forever to finally ask me on a date aye? haha). I can't believe it's been six months. It's been the most amazing time ever and I just love him so much. Can't wait to see what the next six months brings.
