DAY FIFTY EIGHT ... 27 February 2009

Really? I couldn't tell.

DAY FIFTY SEVEN ... 26 February 2009

How can you not love this adorable boy with the amazingly gorgeous eyes? Charlie is the most adorable boy I've ever watched in all of my babysitting years.

DAY FIFTY SIX ... 25 February 2009

I booked my tickets to Australia on Day Fifty Six!!! One of my BFF, and bestest companions Ann Smith (who lives in Brisbane), called me and helped me decide what to do and where to go when. It was amazing to talk to her again and get some help planning. It's pretty surreal that I have actually spent the money and will be there in just over two months!!! I go this May for almost 3 weeks. And I will get to see all of these amazing people again! (Pictured left to right: Emily & Blake Tredrea, Ann Smith (behind), Helica Sales Barnard (my mum!), me, Lucais Claven (behind), Scott Dunlop, and Jeremy Cox -- all mission mates except Emily who is married to Blakey) Love Love Love Love Australia and all these wonderful people! (**this pic was taken in Brisbane in March 2007**)

DAY FIFTY FIVE ... 24 February 2009

I love when these signs make an appearance at UVU. It means warm weather is coming! (and it also shows the maturity of some UVU students ... quality)

DAY FIFTY FOUR ... 23 February 2009

I can't help myself. Hilarious photo of the day. I have no explanation. (P.S. digg the new hair?)

DAY FIFTY THREE ... 22 February 2009

Happy 29th Anniversary to my dear Mum and Dad! I can't believe they are already so old! We gave them a little gift basket with their favourite treats, a gift card for dinner at Goodwood, a tie for my dad, and a necklace for my mum. They are just the greatest parents ever and I love love love them. I am really grateful that they have such a strong marriage. They are definitely an awesome example to me.

DAY FIFTY TWO ... 21 February 2009

Dave and I took full advantage of our Saturday night and went on a super fantastic date. We went to a play at the Hale Center Theater, made pb&j at his place, and went star-gazing on the roof of a school in Provo. There weren't heaps of stars out but it was still so awesome. We are both in love with looking at stars.

DAY FIFTY ONE ... 20 February 2009

My niece Lily is the most adorable girl ever. She likes to sit in the middle of Rylan's train track and play with the train. It makes him so mad but she can hold her own. I love her!

DAY FIFTY ... 19 February 2009

My friend Steve Glauser (aka Swisswassel) and I got together for the evening. We fed his brother's alpaca and sheep, made mac and cheese for dinner, watched "The Island", and had ice cream. Oh yeah, and we became Jones Soda models. Who would've thought?

DAY FOURTY NINE ... 18 February 2009

We had a deer outside our conference room window all day. It was really pretty. And luckily uninjured. Last time there was a deer out there it had been hit or something and there was a trail of blood through the snow. Animal control had to come shoot it and take it away. Sad. I hope this one made it out of here alive.

DAY FOURTY EIGHT ... 17 February 2009

We had to do a presentation on the Caste Systems and Occupations of India in my Anthropology of India class. One of the girls in our group's sister does henna tattoos and volunteered to come talk about it. Perfect. Less time we had to stand up there and talk. The girl doing it, Chris, offered to do a demonstration on someone and this nice girl volunteered. It looked pretty cool, but I don't think I'd ever let anyone do it on me.

DAY FOURTY SEVEN ... 16 February 2009

My good friend Jason Woodward ... he is a total stud. What else can I say about this kid? He's as much of a poser as me. (oh yeah, and he doesn't really have a flower behind his ear -- I do -- but it looks like he does, which is one reason I totally love this photo)

DAY FOURTY SIX ... 15 February 2009

It is amazing when boys get excited to wear girly aprons. And then give you permission to put them all over the internet. We spent a few hours making these spanish tortillas for this week's exotic food night FHE. Dave and Justin .... you two are fabulous!

DAY FOURTY FIVE ... 14 February 2009

For Valentines Day I helped out with a Black and White party that some girls in my ward threw. We all wore black and white (with red and pink and accents) and all of the food was black, pink, and red. It was awesome. We had a dance party and we had that place rockin. Lindsey made an appearance and we had matching dresses that we had to modify in order to make them modest. Modest is hottest, and I would definitely say we are hott.

DAY FOURTY FOUR ... 13 February 2009

I just love girls nights. And I love how they always seem to come at a perfect time. The girls came over and we made an awesome dinner (baked chicken, brown rice, vegetables, garlic cheese bread, and greek salad) and shared crazy stories. And I baked a pretty cake for dessert! We topped the night off with going to see "He's Just Not That Into You", which I love. Thanks chicas for being fabulous. Pictured left to right: Krystle (?), me, Lindsey Andersen, Ambria Escamilla.

DAY FOURTY THREE ... 12 February 2009

I got this cute dress for the Black and White Valentines Party, but am in the process of making it just a tad more modest (AKA longer at the bottom). Wish me luck.

DAY FOURTY TWO ... 11 February 2009

I am a little confused by this month's bulletin board at work. Are we celebrating Valentines or Independence Day? Someone missed the memo.

Oh yeah, and can someone tell me what happened to the calendar? I miss it.

DAY FOURTY ONE ... 10 February 2009

Frantically working on two laptops at once ... this is dedication to homework if I've ever seen it.

DAY FOURTY ... 09 February 2009

For Family Home Evening this week we did a cake decorating contest and our awesome group (Brandy Lunsford, Paola, myself, and Dave) decided to make the Provo Temple. Sister Wynn (Bishopric member's wife) happened to have this random Angel Moroni laying around her house that she let us put on top. We frosted it all in white and wrote "I [heart] to See the Temple" on the top. It was so awesome! And we won first place, thus the cool crowns.

DAY THIRTY NINE ... 08 February 2009

Rylan was excited to check out mum and dad's new toy! He loves the four wheelers so we knew he'd be overjoyed at the sight of the snowmobile. Better watch out for that kid!

DAY THIRTY EIGHT ... 07 February 2009

Happy Belated Birthday to Ben!!! Dave's brother Ben had a birthday (age 25 just like me!) this past week and so we went out to celebrate on the night of Day Thirty Eight. We went bowling (I did terrible at both games we played!) and then had dinner at Mimi's Cafe. It was so much fun to see the Cannon boys all together. Picture left to right: Dave, me, Jake (Dave's brother), Des (Ben's wife, who just found out she is pregnant!), Ben the birthday boy, and Brian (one of their best mates).

DAY THIRTY SEVEN ... 06 February 2009

We got our 'masterpieces' back from Color Me Mine and they are so awesome! (we made bowls for each other, so we are holding the ones the other painted) We are such artists.

DAY THIRTY SIX ... 05 February 2009

I guess the big screen tv just doesn't cut it anymore. No actually my parents missed American Idol on both Tues and Wed nights so we found it online and watched it that way. But since the episodes are heaps long they wanted to sit in their comfortable chairs. It was a fun adventure.

DAY THIRTY FIVE ... 04 February 2009

Dave and I went on a double date with Angela Ipson and her boyfriend Spencer Horton. We went ice skating at the Gallivan Center (so fun because it's outside!) and then to dinner at Buca di Beppos. It was such a great night. And I love this shot .... so dramatic.

DAY THIRTY FOUR ... 03 February 2009

I went on a blind date with Cody Spencer tonight and it was one of the funniest nights ever. He is such a babe! We went to dinner at Magelbys and then went miniature golfing at Trafalga. I pointed out a nasty bandaid stuck to the floor at one hole, at which point he tried to make me a deal that he'd let me win the game if I turned it over and touched the bloody side (I was losing by like 10 points ... haha). Barf. He eventually laid down and pretended to lick it. I laughed for literally five minutes straight. It was awesome. After that episode he decided it wasn't worth me 'getting herpes' over, so he rescinded his offer. Thanks Cody for a fantastic evening!

DAY THIRTY THREE ... 02 February 2009

Dave shaved the flavor saver. Yep. I had nothing to do with it. It honestly took me a bit to even notice. I got so used to it that I never thought about it. I had to snap this pic at FHE to prove it was actually a done deal.

DAY THIRTY TWO ... 01 February 2009

I love my ward more than anything in the world. I never imagined I would come to love it so much when I decided to attend last summer. I was pretty prideful about the whole thing, but I have been humbled. I have gotten really involved and have met some fabulous people. Testimony meeting was absolutely wonderful today. The Spirit is always so strong and I feel like we can share that special part of ourselves because we are so close. There are still many people I don't know there but I'm working on it. I call us the Ward of Love, which works because the 14th of Feb is Valentines Day. (oh yeah, and we are actually offically the Orem University 14th Ward ... they just changed it to coincide with the new name of UVU) And to top it all off we have more attractive people in this ward than I've ever seen in one YSA ward. Woot woot!

DAY THIRTY ONE ... 31 January 2009

Dave and I went on a real official date tonight and it was so much fun! We went to Color Me Mine and painted these bowls. We had to leave them there to get fired in the kiln and then we can keep them forever and ever. We made them for each other and I think the one Dave made is so cool. Considering the fact that I'm not very artistically creative I had heaps of fun. After that we had sushi at Happy Sumo. This photo was taken before we even started painting. We'll have to wait and see how they turn out!
