At our ward campout ... Tay Tay was so mesmerized by the fire in the fireplace. It was too rainy and we didn't sleep over, but we had some great food and met some awesome people. Our ward rocks!

I got to Skype with my amazing Ann!!! She is looking so cute and pregnant and she let me take this photo of her on the computer. I am so glad we got to talk face-to-face, even if she is in New Zealand and we stayed up really late (for me ... she was still in early evening over there). I just love her and miss her soooo much and can't believe she is going to be a mommy already.

We went on a picnic hike to a hill overlooking the valley at Dry Canyon. It was so beautiful and just so relaxing. We did this same thing last year when we were dating and it was so much more fun this time around because we didn't have any curfews and could just be there together and talk and relax and be. I love Dave and I love our amazing Earth!

Alex and Ben's wedding! We got to go to their ring ceremony and wedding dinner, as well as their reception. It was so beautiful and we felt extremely honored to be there. Alex and Ben are good friends of Dave's from a few years ago and Alex is the most beautiful girl ever! Congrats to them!

We went to my dear friend Todd Jensen's wedding! Todd and I met our first weeks in our singles ward and were friends for about a year and a half until I got married. He is great, Maggie is sweet, and I am so excited for them! {p.s. todd dwarfs all of us!}

More birthday celebrations! We went back up to Snowbird for the day to use our all-day fun passes. We did the zipline, alpine slide (our favorite! we did that 3 times), had a picnic lunch, and then rode the pervian chairlift to the top and hiked around. It was so beautiful and the weather was so perfect.

We finally got together with Angela and Spencer! We haven't seen them since we got married and have both just been so busy lately. They came down and we had a BBQ and spent the evening sucking helium out of balloons to make funny voices and catching up. I love Ang and am so glad we are still so close.

We met up with Lindsey at one of our good friend Mike's wedding reception. It was such a gorgeous night and a beautiful wedding. We had so much fun catching up with Linds and were entertained by all the crazies on the dance floor.

We made some delicions Chicken Tikka Masala for dinner and it was superb, especially with homemade chapati on the side. Yummmmmmmmm. I especially love that Dave really enjoys tasting food. It sounds silly, but he really does just appreciate good-tasting food and focuses on it when he eats. He is awesome.

We grilled some burgers for dinner and it actually felt like summer!! Dave decided on a double cheeseburger, with lettuce, tomato, and avocado. I'm not sure how he got it to fit in his mouth, but it sure looked tasty.

Let the celebrations begin! We finally got to celebrate Dave's birthday (since last weekend was family weekend). I surprised him with a nights stay at Snowbird and dinner with his good friends, Matt and Calah. They are soooo awesome! We ate at the Cheesecake Factory and had such an awesome time.

We finally got a washer and dryer! Some friends that used to be in our ward gave them to us when they moved. We are so happy and grateful. And we are also especially grateful that Christy and Jason let us use theirs for 6 whole months.

We had a family reunion with my mum's side of the family on Saturday at Mutual Dell (in American Fork Canyon). We got to do the zipline for a couple hours and it was so fun.

Happy (late) Birthday to my mum! We celebrated a day late since she works in the temple on Wednesday nights. It was really awesome being able to spend some time with her and party the night away with her. She doesn't look anywhere near 50 and I just love her so so much.

Davey and I went on a date! It feels like it's been forever since we've actually gone on a formal date. We decided to go up to the Gateway and eat at Happy Sumo. The food was mediocre but we had the best time ever. The people next to us kept looking at us weird because we were constantly laughing. I loved it and am so grateful for my husband and how he can make me laugh at any moment. And he's also really really attractive.

It's our SIX MONTH wedding anniversary! I really can't believe it's already been 6 whole months. It's so cliche, but I really do love Dave more now than I ever did then. I didn't take any photos today, so I picked one of my favorites from our wedding. Even though everyone else was freezing cold, we were so happy!
