Day 64: Thursday 25 March 2010

The days at Prosper are rarely boring. This time there was feces smeared all over the floor in the men's bathroom (don't ask me how or why ... ). Someone put up this sign in hopes that it would make the maintenance guy come more quickly. I caught a whiff just standing outside the door taking this photo. Gagggggg.

Day 63: Wednesday 24 March 2010

This is Lincoln. He was born 5 days ago to Dave's sister Heather. We got to go have a visit at their house and it was so awesome. He is teeny tiny and so cute.

{Dave is going to be a great daddy one day}

Day 62: Tuesday 23 March 2010

Oh the things we find (but do not buy) at Buy Low.

Monday, March 22, 2010

Day 61: Monday 22 March 2010

Where do I work again? Seriously, the garbage can in the break room was overflowing this morning and what you can't see is all of the garbage on the floor around it. Are we seriously paying a custodian? I have no idea where this 'Pigpen Award' came from, but it is definitely appropriate.

Day 60: Sunday 21 March 2010

Family dinner at the 'rent's house. We finally opened the Wii Super Mario game that I won last month and played it for a couple of hours. It was so much fun once we got used to it! Don't we all look excited? We'll just say we are engrossed.

{oh and happy 2 months to Dave and I! we celebrated this evening by sitting in separate rooms studying and writing big papers.}

Day 59: Saturday 20 March 2010

We went to a bridal shower for my cousin Aleena (not pictured) and we played the create-a-wedding-dress-out-of-toilet-paper-and-paper-towels game. I got to be the model, which was fun because I was just there a couple months ago, and we won because my auntie is really creative and great at sewing clothes so she made it pretty intricate. Yahoo for weddings!

Day 58: Friday 19 March 2010

This pic makes me laugh so much. Dave couldn't keep his eyes open cause the wind was blowing so I was making fun of him. I just love this man.

Day 57: Thursday 18 March 2010

Happy Spring Break! We took the day off and spent the whole day together. It was so awesome.

Wednesday, March 17, 2010

Day 56: Wednesday 17 March 2010

On my way back to work from having lunch with my love. He makes me happy.

HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY!!!

Day 55: Tuesday 16 March 2010

We did nothing tonight and it was marvelous.

My dad wrote this on the back of Dave's car the other night. It was so cute!

Day 54: Monday 15 March 2010

Dave and I watched this tonight after FHE. Movies after FHE have become a tradition and I love it. It's nice to snuggle in for a movie with my man. And yep, by the end we were both crying. Great movie!

Day 53: Sunday 13 March 2010

Dave's face in the snow Saturday night. Seriously so cool!

Day 52: Saturday 13 March 2010

My dad's toy. Someday he'll get to play around and fix it up. Until then it sits safely in a storage unit.

Day 51: Friday 12 March 2010

My sister Christy and some of our neighbors had a little barbeque and let the kids make s'mores. They absolutely loved it. One lady even gave the kids glowsticks. So cute. I promise they are having more fun than they appear.

Day 50: Thursday 11 March 2010

My bestest friend since age 15 got married today! It's so fun that Kim and I got to share our days just 7 weeks apart. She looked amazing and they are such a happy couple. It's also fun that we have more similar last names than before we were married. Love this girl!!!

Thursday, March 11, 2010

Day 49: Wednesday 10 March 2010

My dear seester loving my jam tarts. We used to make them all the time when I was 14, so it was fun to make them again for dessert.

Wednesday, March 10, 2010

Day 48: Tuesday 09 March 2010

Some important things that are currently on our fridge (to remind us that we need to make them a priority): friends, family, time, the temple, and our marriage.

Day 47: Monday 08 March 2010

This little gem is sitting in a frame on our kitchen table at the moment and I just love it. It's Dave and his brothers, but not sure on the date. Proof that my Davey has always been skinny and has always been a redhead.

Day 46: Sunday 07 March 2010

Finished watching some 'Mamma Mia' after Stake Conference today. I would have taken photos at the beautiful Provo Tabernacle but it was raining so we ran to the car.

Day 45: Saturday 06 March 2010

Our living room is finally organized (nevermind the rest of the apartment)! We still have lots of pressies still in the boxes, but at least they are somewhere out of the way. It feels great to be able to walk around and just feel like it is open and clean and done. Next item of business: hang up pictures on the wall so it doesn't feel so empty.

Day 44: Friday 05 March 2010

Tay Tay Bebe loving his peaches.

Friday, March 5, 2010

Day 43: Thursday 04 March 2010

Apparently important people (AKA millionaires who think they are soooo much better than anyone else) only like to pick the tops off muffins and put them back in the box. Who does that????

{they also insist that they only drink out of glasses, and not plastic waterbottles, forcing Lindsey to go to Target and buy a set of dinner glasses just for one person to have for one hour .... serenity now}

Day 42: Wednesday 03 March 2010

YES to date night with my husband! We ate amazing calzones at Nicolitalia in Provo and then went to the dollar theater and saw "Invictus". The dollar theaters suck but the movie was amazing! I loved getting to know Dave even better (we played a good round of 'get to know you' questions) and just talk to him about things that are important to me. Great date night for us!

Day 41: Tuesday 02 March 2010

Dave brought me home some flowers today because I have been feeling extra sick with a sinus infection. They are so pretty and brightly colored (the picture definitely doesn't do them justice). They are definitely different than anything he has ever gotten me. I love them!

{And yes, he is wearing shorts and a t-shirt ... he likes to think summer is close}

Day 40: Monday 01 March 2010

We spent our FHE going over our February budget and seeing how we came out. Holy beans. I don't really like doing budget stuff. I like being a good spender and not spending money, but it fries my brain a little to have to spend hours working out every penny, and then trying to format the spreadsheet just right. It puts me in a bit of a grouchy mood, especially when we realize we spend more than we make. Blah. (I guess I can't be too sad over it yet ... how do you really know what to budget your first month of marriage?)

P.S. Dave is attractive.

Day 39: Sunday 28 February 2010

I made egg curry! My Fijian Indian mission companion, Sister Kumar, taught me how and it is a family favorite at our house. I had forgotten why I stopped making it, but remembered when I got to cooking and saw that it was taking so long! But worth it. It's actually super easy and soooo yummy. It's just potatos, onion, garlic, and spices, water, and then boiled eggs added at the end. Delish. Dave had never had it and was so in love when we started eating (you can tell by the excitement on his face!). I am thankful my husband is not picky with food. We invited Matt over for dinner and it was fun to spend some time with him as well.

Day 38: Saturday 27 February 2010

This is how I have spent some sick time lately. Dave set up a little 'theater' in our bed so I could just veg in my pj's and still watch an awesome movie. He's so amazing.

Day 37: Friday 26 February 2010

We took my parents to the airport tonight. They are going on a cruise for their 30th wedding anniversary. My neck was really killing me and I wanted my dad (he's a chiropractor) to adjust it for me before they left. Well, the airport ended up being the place. There really wasn't anywhere to do it except on this nice security table. We did it all really fast so that we didn't get into trouble. Dave and my mum just stood by and laughed.

Day 36: Thursday 25 February 2010

I feel like I should have magical powers with this little wand. It is made out of selenite. A kind lady I work with is in love with healing rocks and gave me this to hold at my desk because I am still sick. Apparently it emits healing vibes or something. Can't hurt to try right?

{if you google 'selenite' you'll find some interesting wacko stuff}
